Hello Spring!

Nothing screams spring more than a vase full of fresh flowers and pretty pastel nail polishes. These four shades by Essie are my favorite shades to wear during Spring. Their soft hues are perfect for welcoming color back into your life without going full on bright. These colors compliment pale winter skin tones and still look good even after you've gotten a bit of a tan.

From left to right
Go Ginza, Mint Candy Apple, Find Me An Oasis, and Ballet Slippers

Go Ginza is a beautiful Lavender shade that goes on slightly sheer, but brightens up after the second coat. Mint Candy Apple is the perfect minty green nail polish! It's amazing on its own, but also looks great with a gold accent nail. Find me and Oasis is a pretty pale blue that isn't too noticeable, but still gives the perfect hint of color on the nails. Ballet Slippers has got to be my favorite pinky nude shade. It is very sheer and subtle, but gives your nails such a healthy looking tint since you can still see the half moons peeking through the polish. And yes, my bottle has a huge crack in it thanks to the careless woman at Ulta dropping it into the bag and hitting the counter. Luckily it didn't crack all the way through, so it's still usable.

What are your go to polishes for Spring?

Mini Haul!

The other day I was at Target - no surprise there - and went only with the intentions of buying toilet paper and a few other necessities. But, of course, I couldn't just walk by the beauty aisles without looking around. I needed a new concealer and also wanted to try out a few things, so here is a mini haul for you guys! These are the few things I picked up :)

From left to right:
Revlon Age Defying Concealer
I needed a new under eye concealer and haven't committed to any specific one yet, so I thought I'd give this one from Revlon a try. I have a very sensitive under eye area, so I'm always nervous to try new concealers. So far I really like the coverage it gives me and it hasn't caused any dryness or irritation.

NYX Mega Shine Lipgloss in Sugar Pie
I am so happy that my Target now carries NYX! The stand at my Target doesn't have a lot of variety like the one I usually go to at Ulta and it is always out of everything I want. I was able to get my hands on this lip gloss and I really love the color of it. It's a nice nude pink color with a bit of shimmer and its perfect to put on top of a pink lipstick or to just wear on its own.

EOS Lip Balm in Summerfruit
I was in desperate need of a new lip balm and decided to try one of the EOS ones. Now, $4 isn't too bad of a price for how much you're getting, but compared to other great brands it is a bit of a splurge. I got this brand because I always tend to lose my chap sticks before I can even put a dent in them and this one seems nearly impossible to misplace!

The Porefessional by Benefit
I obviously didn't get this a Target, but I wanted to include it in this haul because I did just recently get it. I got a tiny sample of this primer over the holidays when I was doing a lot of online shopping and it lasted forever! It took a few months to finish the tiny sample because all you really need is a tiny pea size to cover your T zone. So, even though $30 is quite expensive for me, I don't think I'll have to buy another full size anytime soon. This primer is so amazing and I'm sure you've already heard all about it. And just to agree with everyone else, it is amazing!

Maybelline Eye Studio Quad in Copper Chic
I was inspired by one of Casey Holmes' new spring makeup looks to get this quad. I'm always so frustrated when I watch a tutorial on a great look but don't have any similar colors in my collection. So as soon as I saw the video I was like I have to get this! The look she creates is so beautiful and such a perfect look for spring and summer. Check out her channel here, she's seriously one of my favorites!

NYX Eye Pencil in Brown
This one is pretty self explanatory. I just needed a brown liner to create a softer look when I don't want my makeup to look too dramatic, but still want a full looking lash line.

Revlon Age Defying Line Filler
And lastly, I got this line filler by Revlon to help with the fine lines that I have under my eyes. My concealer sometimes gets trapped in my fine lines and it is so frustrating to have to touch up those areas several times throughout the day. the product is just a clear serum that you apply in the areas that you have fine lines/ wrinkles. I haven't used this product yet, but I'm really hoping it will help considering it was close to $11!

Hope you guys enjoyed!
