I'm not one to try a bunch of new products all at once because one, I can't afford to and two, I don't like change -at least not all at once. So it is quite obvious that "monthly favorites" posts aren't going to be a regular thing on this blog.
However, I do want to share when I actually venture out and try new things. I have recently bought a few new bits here and there and I've become completely obsessed with the products I'm going to share with you. Really, its a problem...
The first is my YSL baby doll mascara. If I could only use one word to describe this mascara it would be: perfection. I have never been so in love with a mascara or any other item of make up before in my life. Starting off with the packaging, I just love how chic and glamorous (does anyone else channel their inner Fergie to spell that word?) the gold and hot pink are. It is so simple yet so pretty! The formula of this mascara is amazing. It goes on so smooth and the wand just glides over my lashes so easily. After two coats of this stuff it seriously looks like I'm wearing falsies.
Next up, this Beauty Blender dupe is seriously the best thing that has happened to my foundation routine. When the Beauty Blender first hit shelves I was very skeptical about buying it. Even after all of the amazing reviews it got, I just couldn't bring myself to buy a sponge for $20. Once I heard a review on this dupe by Real Techniques I knew I had to try it. I absolutely adore Sam and Nic's brushes and knew they wouldn't disappoint with their Miracle Complexion Sponge.
Last, - but not at all least on the level of obsessed - is this nail polish by Essie. It is the color Bikini So Teeny and I adore this color so much. It is definitely my favorite out of all of the colors in my collection and I can't stop wearing it. Seriously, every time I go to paint my nails I take this color off and just end up putting it right back on. It's on my nails as I type and it will probably be on my nails when I get a manicure next.
I hope you enjoyed this short, but very detailed post on my current obsessions. And now after you've read this, I'm sure you'd agree that I'm not using the word obsessed lightly at all!
